HSC8 6-4A Crimping tool for wire end ferrules 6-sided
This crimping tool has a hexagonal crimp.
The swing-out of the handle is 11.8 cm.
A wire ferrule bundles the loose copper wires of flexible cable before it is inserted into a terminal (such as a terminal block or circuit breaker). The major advantage is that it prevents cable breakage prevents loosening and ensures safe, optimal power transfer.
No compression of veins: With flexible wire, the thin copper wires can slip out from under the screw of a clamp. The sleeve compresses everything tightly together into one solid unit.
Protection against damage: The copper wires are not cut or damaged by the tightening force of the screw.
Prevents short circuits: Because no loose 'strands' protrude from the clamp, the risk of a short circuit is nil.
Optimal conduction: It ensures a maximum contact surface between the copper and the clamp.
Repeated clenching: Without a ferrule, flexible wire deforms. With a ferrule, you can fasten and unfasten the cable more frequently in screw or spring clamps.
