A breadboard experiment starter kit. Everything you need to start experimenting with a breadboard.
Consisting of:
Breadboard 830 Tie points
Breadboard power supply 3.3 / 5 V
Breadboard wire set of 65 wires (also known as "jumper wires")
The breadboard power supply is a plug-in module that can be inserted into either end of the breadboard. The power supply then connects to the two power rails on the sides of the breadboard. A voltage of 5 volts or 3.3 volts can be selected on the sides using jumpers. You can select two voltages, so you have 3.3 volts on one rail, for example, and 5 volts on the other. You can also set either 5 volts or 3.3 volts on each rail. The breadboard power supply has a maximum current of 800mA; keep in mind that when the power consumption approaches the maximum limit of the controllers, they can become very hot.
Besides being able to adjust the voltage using jumpers, there's also an extra header. This allows you to use jumper wires to transfer the voltages to a second breadboard without needing an additional power supply.
The breadboard power supply also has a switch for turning it on and off. Besides a DC power jack, it also has a USB port, which you can use to power the power supply. This can be done with 12 volts via the power jack or 5 volts via the USB port.
The 2 jumpers you need to set up the breadboard power supply are included, so you don't have to search for jumpers again.
TIP!: If you'd rather not use jumpers but still want to adjust the voltage, use a female header. You can solder wires to this and connect them to switches. This allows you to control the circuit via a switch.
Breadboard Experiment Kit, a fun set for the beginning hobbyist!
